I’ve not always been big on stripes, but this sweater, though! And black, white, and red are classics. So when I remembered the red boots I had in the closet and my candy cane scarf… oh, it was on.
My Sweet Outift – Stripes & Candy Canes
Striped V-Neck Sweater. Torrid did it again with this comfy striped v-neck that is just awesome to wear. It is part of their fall/winter 2016 lineup so get one while it’s hot!
Tatyana Retro Skirt. I don’t know if this is the official name, but that’s what we’re calling it. This is a horrible pic that I found after searching for a long time… it just isn’t online anymore. A couple of years ago, my hubs and I went to his company Christmas party in Tampa. We had a Saturday night to wander around town, so we found a comic book store (of course – it’s like you don’t know us!), and then decided to brave the mall to find a couple more last-minute gifts. I found this awesome retro clothing store (I LOVE RETRO FASHION) and met two of the nicest women, one of whom was natural. Check out my post about it – I got her routine and pics! Anyhoo, long story short (if it isn’t already too late), I purchased a skirt and wore it today. It’s a special skirt so I don’t just throw it on with everything! lol… it is not longer listed on the site, but if you dig the retro vibe, check out Tatyana (.com).
JustFab Rosemary Bootie. I wore this as part of my Mad Hatter cosplay during DragonCon; and I haven’t worn it since. Until today. The outfit called for an ankle length red lace-up boot. Just saying.
Candy Cane Scarf. You see it in the pic – it is amazing and looks like a stripped glittery candy cane. This was another Target buy many years ago that no one will ever find online. Too bad.
So there is my sweet outfit for the day. What do you guys think?
Do you ever red black, white, and red? How do you mix it up?
